In 1889, Hamilton Carhartt established a brand that would become an American icon.

A made in the USA line of union produced workwear overalls with an emphasis on heavy duty fabric like cotton duck canvas. Fast forward over a hundred years to the 1990's and Carhartt WIP still produces high quality workwear but it's also seen itself appropriated by the emerging Hip-Hop community among other cultural movements. Edwin Faeh took on the role of distributing Carhartt WIP to a European market, and in a stroke of genius the brand gave him an unprecedented amount of input into the manufacturing of the garments and thus Carhartt Work-In-Progress born, offering updated and contemporary takes on a true American classic.
