Show Filters Taking its name from the Finnish word for bear (as seen in the brand’s logo), Karhu was established in 1916. Fast forward one hundred years and the brand’s high quality, performance informed, stylish sneakers are internationally recognised. Initially, Karhu’s focus was on producing general sports equipment from javelins to running spikes but it wasn’t long before the brand became the official equipment supplier for all Finns competing in the olympic games, firmly cementing itself as the sportswear brand of Finland and a leading athletic shoe manufacturer in the world.
