Born in 2005 out of an obsession with collecting old bits of American workwear.
Ichiro Nakutsu's brand orSlow (shorthand for original and slow, which we feel is a fair assessment) set about replicating these items in the most authentic way that they could. This means using old shuttle loom machinery to painstakingly put together their garments. The unique appearance of the clothing comes from a perfect partnership of bespoke Japanese fabric and quality and classic western ideas. There's a certain texture to the fabrics, an imperfect slub - a beautiful imbalance to the way the face of the material is formed.
