Our most popular and longest serving footwear brand, Red Wing Shoes need little introduction.
With a history that dates back to 1905 in the town of Red Wing, Minnesota, when Charles Beckman decided to open his own shoe company. The brand started as it meant to go on, with sturdy work boots intended for tradesmen, gradually expanding into new facilities and fields, their hand-made boots and shoes ending up in the hands of ladies, oil-riggers and eventually even postmen. However, it wasn’t until the 1950’s when the boot that would cement the brand as a style icon as well as the already achieved workwear legend status came into production, the 875. With it’s moccasin style toe-box, oil tanned leather upper and goodyear welted (read: replaceable) white traction-tred sole unit, the boot became a mainstay for the brand forming the basis of the brand for years to come. Alongside the 6” moc in a plethora of colours, the brand also make an arsenal of other options to suit any needs, from the Chukka off duty weekend roaming to the Ice Cutter for the harshest winter days. There’s something here for everyone.
