Stan Ray
Show FiltersWhen Earl Beard started Earl’s Apparel in 1972 to develop high quality workwear, he’d have been hard pressed to predict the trajectory of the brand.
As the majority of their competitors gradually outsourced production overseas, the brand proudly continued manufacturing all of their products in their family owned facility in Crockett, Texas. Stan Ray, named for Earl’s first born son, specialised then and now in military grade sateen fatigues (used as US military uniforms until the 1980s), natural drill painter trousers and a variety of rugged coveralls. Much like other storied American workwear brands Carhartt and Filson, Stan Ray has benefitted from a general shift in menswear towards functional, well-made utilitarian clothing representative of a more educated customer willing to go further than just the high street. With this in mind, the Stan Ray product has increasingly been developed and pushed forward, with updated fits, colours and branding offering a plethora of options for it’s more discerning clientele. A forward thinking approach and the perfect combination of authenticity and adaptability.
