Returning for their second season at Liquor Store, we’re very excited to welcome back Japanese bag brand Master-Piece; combining eye-catching colours and bold fashion designs with high quality construction and functionality, Master-piece produce bags that quickly become an everyday essential.

Originating in 1994 when the reception of men’s fashions bags was undeveloped and the idea in its infancy, Master-Piece sought to create products that never overlooked the important design details that give a product functionality for everyday use, a concept they noticed that was often absent in the fashion industry.

After 14 years of success, in 2004 they made the decision to build their own factory christened ‘BASE OSAKA’. The determination to ensure authentic and efficient in-house production allows the brand to guarantee that no detail or processing step is missed. The strong water repellency, light fabrics and original parts featured throughout Master-Piece’s collections perfectly indicate the success their tenacious attitude during production has.

Striving to unite Japanese craftsmen and their factory with the fashion industry, the brand employs uniquely original combinations of materials, carefully sourcing them both domestically and internationally whilst building their brand on a strict ‘Made in Japan’ concept which is core to the brand’s identity.

MASTER-PIECE LINK BACKPACK

A sizeable storage option, the backpack boasts a sturdy water-resistant, nylon twill fabric construction that’s seen across the entire Link Series. A two-way zip closure and authentic looking metal carabiner clip to securely fasten the main compartment and exterior pocket respectively, there’s also the addition of a further two exterior pockets at each side. Finished off with padded shoulder straps and a leather carry handle; all leather accents are constructed from an eco cow leather that undergoes a vegetable tanning treatment that emphasises the natural colour of the leather.

MASTER-PIECE LINK WAIST BAG

A smaller alternative, the Waist Bag shares similar details such as the two-way zipper closure and metal carabiner (which can be utilised as a keyring). Boasting one main compartment, an interior pocket and adjustable over the body buckle strap, the Waist Bag possesses the same hard-wearing and water-resistant durable nylon twill makeup which is obtained from the fabric undergoing a special process that shrinks the fabric in order to attain the dense, resilient properties characterised throughout the collection.

MASTER-PIECE LINK SHOULDER BAG

A compact sacoche, the Shoulder Bag boasts the same durable construction, zip closure main compartment, an internal pocket and two external pockets. An adjustable shoulder strap making it easy to throw over or under your layers, it’s finished off with carabiner clasp detailing, leather trimmings and a woven logo patch illustrating their ‘Made in Japan’ pride and decorated in the colours of the Japanese national flag.
